• The results of Sussex Police’s Christmas Drink-Drug-Drive campaign;
• How the Domestic Violence Disclosure Scheme – known as Clare’s Law – is being used in Sussex;
• Sussex Police’s Investigations Framework and the prioritisation of criminal investigations;
Commenting ahead of the meeting Mrs Bourne said: "I have been lobbying hard to secure the best possible funding arrangements for policing in Sussex and I am pleased that my decision to increase the police precept in 2018/19 by £12 a year (for a Band D property) has been supported by the majority of residents who took part in my public consultation and the Police & Crime Panel.
"I recognise that any increase in taxation will be challenging for some of our residents and this is not a decision I have taken lightly. However, I believe it’s the right one to protect police officer and staff posts. I will be asking the Chief Constable how he plans to use these resources to sustain local policing and meet increases in demand.”
